Lulzy, completely SFW [boo!] video under the cut. )

Also, here are some ~delicious~ quotes from a recent Levi article: )
- - - - -

Second source has another video of the ~eloquent, historic award speech~. And also has this gem of a quote:

The photo spread, a tribute to "hockey moms," [LMAO] features the 19-year old posing with a hockey stick.

(...but probably the most hilarious thing of all is that Palin tells ~Oprah~ that she might be open to inviting Levi over for Thanksgiving. Have Tank taste all your food before you eat anything, Levi!)

P.S. ~~~"A lot of famous people have done Playgirl: Jim Brown, Burt Reynolds, Mario Lopez."~~~

On CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, White House senior adviser David Axelrod responded to former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney's criticism of the president. Romney expressed incredulity that President Obama had not made up his mind on Afghanistan.

"Why is it taking so long?" host John King asked.

"Governor Romney has to choose one argument of another," Axelrod responded. "Either he has to say he is not paying attention or he has to say he is taking too long because he has been involved in a rigorous review ... You know, I know that Governor Romney has never had responsibility for any decision akin to this, so he just may not be familiar with all that it entails."

Texas accounts for half of executions in US but now has doubts over death row
Overturned convictions and growth of DNA forensic evidence shake state's rock-solid faith in capital punishment

by Chris McGreal, The Guardian

Even in Texas they are having their doubts. The state that executes more people than any other by far – it will account for half the prisoners sent to the death chamber in the US this year – is seeing its once rock-solid faith in capital punishment shaken by overturned convictions, judicial scandals and growing evidence that at least one innocent man has been executed.

'You come out; it is still dark. The door creaks, or perhaps you sneeze, or the snow crunches under your foot, and hares start up from the far cabbage patch and leap away, leaving the snow criss-crossed with tracks. In the distance dogs begin to howl and it takes a long time before the quieten down. The cocks have finished their crowing and have nothing left to say. Then dawn breaks.'

I'm asking in here, because all of you have great taste. I swear I've posted this topic before, long ago, but...here it is again.

(I know many of you will say Etsy!)

What Horace had in mind was that you should gently pull on the day's stem, as if it were, say, a wildflower or an olive, holding it with all the practiced care of your thumb and the side of your finger, which knows how to not crush easily crushed things - so that the day's stalk or stem undergoes increasing tension and draws to a thinness, and a tightness, and then snaps softly away at its weakest point, perhaps leaking a little milky sap, and the flower, or the fruit, is released in your hand. Pluck the cranberry or blueberry of the day tenderly free without damaging it, is what Horace meant - pick the day, harvest the day, reap the day, mow the day, forage the day. Don't freaking grab the day in your fist like a burger at a fairground and take a big chomping bite out of it. That's not the kind of man that Horace was.
